Émilie Brécard is a French photographer working with self-portraiture, analogue photography and constructed imagery to explore femininity, the body and the space between tenderness and unease. She pokes at the raw edges of femininity: its tender beauty, its cavernous depths, and the sharp violence that often lurks in the shadows.
